art is for everyone
As is the joy, peace, wellbeing, acceptance, and sense of self and community that come from creating and engaging the arts. These principles have guided Maria throughout her fifteen+ years experience designing, implementing, and evaluating fun, interactive, educational offerings in varied settings including professional development, arts, and faith-based organizations, as well as institutions of higher education for learners and art-lovers of all ages, abilities, and levels of exposure to the arts.
workshops + programs
Virtual and in-person, singular and multi-part series curated for you and your audience with entirely customizable curriculums. Ria especially enjoys designing and facilitating experiences for audiences of all ages on the topics of art and meditation, peacemaking, and personal and community storytelling.
libraries + community orgs
Singular programs and multi-part series designed for parent-and-me, children, teens, or adults available on a contract basis. Often thematic in nature, Ria leverages her background in music, theater, and visual arts to produce engaging, multi-discipline explorations on areas of interest to her partners and students. For example, a parent-and-me class may feature a read-aloud story, songs, dancing, and a creative project or craft on the theme of nature or emotions.
